We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or entry for any reason, including but not limited to, violations of these terms or any contest rules.
No purchase or consideration is necessary to enter or win our contests. All eligible participants have an equal opportunity to win, irrespective of any purchase or other action.
Unless otherwise stated in writing on the contest page, post, or widget, or in terms supplemental to these terms and conditions, the contest is only open to natural persons over the age of 18 in the continental United States (i.e., Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, possessions, and overseas military installations are excluded).
Eligibility criteria specific to each contest (if different from the basic eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions), including geographic location, age restrictions, and other specific requirements, are detailed on the contest page, post, or widget, or in terms supplemental to these terms and conditions. Those specific rules take precedence over the general terms and conditions outlined here.
Employees of the prize provider, host, the immediate family members of those employees, and anyone closely associated with the prize provider, host, or the contest are not eligible to participate.
Any entrant not meeting the eligibility criteria may be disqualified.
If a contest is promoted or run on social media platforms like, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Bluesky, Threads, Snapchat, or YouTube, these platforms are not associated with or responsible for the contest. All personal data collected in connection with the contest is collected by the host and subject to these terms and conditions and the host’s privacy policy, whether or not such personal data is also collected by the social media platforms.
Winners will be chosen as outlined on the contest page, typically at random unless otherwise noted. Notification methods will be specified on the contest page and may include email or direct messaging via the platform used for entry. Winners must respond to the notification within the timeframe specified in the message (usually 5-7 days). Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize, and the host reserves the right to select an alternative winner. In this situation, the original winner forfeits all claims to the prize(s).
Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash unless explicitly stated otherwise. Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or costs associated with shipping the prize. If the prize is provided by a partner or third-party provider, additional terms and conditions may apply. The host is not liable for any issues related to the condition, delivery, or defects of the prize, whether the prize is provided by a partner or internally by Static Media. Once the prize has been shipped or handed over to a delivery service, all risk of loss or damage passes to the winner. The host is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the prize during shipping.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Each entry has an equal chance of being selected, provided it adheres to these terms and any specific contest rules. If only one entry per person is allowed, this will be explicitly stated on the contest page, post, or widget.
By entering the contest, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. This includes, but is not limited to, announcing the winner on our website, social media platforms, and other promotional materials. You also release the host and its affiliates from any and all liability related to this contest or the use of the prize.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the host and its affiliates disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or related to the contest or the use of any prize. This includes, but is not limited to, issues such as prize defects, non-delivery by the partner, delays in prize delivery, or other issues (whether provided directly by Static Media or by a third party prize provider). The host is also not responsible for any consequences resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use the prize. In the event that a prize offered by a prize provider (other than the host) is not delivered or is damaged or defective, the host’s sole and exclusive responsibility is to use commercially reasonable efforts to facilitate the resolution of such problem between the winner and the prize provider.
By entering the contest, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of administering the contest. This may include sharing your information with the prize provider or manufacturer to facilitate prize delivery. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By default, we do not share entrant data with external prize providers unless it is to provide the winner’s shipping information. However, in some cases, we may have an agreement with the prize provider(s) to share entrant data, including email addresses. If this is the case, it will be clearly stated on the contest page, post, or widget before entering the contest. By participating, entrants agree to the separate privacy policies of the prize provider(s) where applicable.
This contest is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States. Any disputes arising from or related to this contest will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the state or federal courts in Indianapolis, Indiana. By participating, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
If the prize includes travel or vacation components, the winner is responsible for any costs not explicitly included in the prize, such as transportation, travel insurance, meals, and personal expenses. Travel prizes are subject to availability and any restrictions that may apply, including blackout dates or specific travel periods as dictated by the prize provider. The winner and their travel companions are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents and meeting health or safety requirements. If travel for more than one person is included, companions must also meet eligibility criteria and may need to sign a liability/publicity release. Winners and companions must comply with local laws and customs at the destination and are encouraged to secure appropriate travel insurance. In case of force majeure events, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond the host’s or prize provider’s control, the host or prize provider reserves the right to modify, cancel, or substitute any part of the travel prize without providing a cash alternative, unless stated otherwise. Additional terms from the prize provider may apply, and by accepting the travel prize, winners agree to those terms.
Some prizes may be provided by partners who have their own terms and conditions. The host bears no responsibility for the actions or failures of third-party partners. If a partner fails to provide the prize, if the prize is defective, or if there are issues with delivery, the host will use reasonable efforts to facilitate the resolution of any dispute. However, all responsibility lies with the prize provider. Participants agree to hold the host harmless from any claims arising from the failure of a partner to deliver on their promise.
The host is not responsible for delays or failures in conducting the contest and/or delivering the prize due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, natural disasters, pandemics, or shipping disruptions. In such events, we reserve the right to terminate, cancel, or modify the contest. Modification of the contest under this paragraph may include, but is not limited to, substitution of a different prize, and no cash alternative will be provided unless stated otherwise.
